Photos/Video: The headline, "Doctors Boycott Nigerian Medical Association's Interaction with Olumide Akpata," is a false and baseless claim, designed to discredit Mr. Akpata's efforts to engage with the medical community.

In fact, the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) did attend the interaction, and they expressed their appreciation for Mr. Akpata's willingness to listen to their concerns and work towards improving the healthcare system in Edo State.

This headline is a clear example of political propaganda, aimed at misleading the public and creating doubt about Mr. Akpata's credibility and leadership.

It is important to remember that these types of attacks are not new. The APC and PDP have a long history of engaging in negative campaigning and spreading misinformation to discredit their opponents.

However, we must not let these tactics distract us from the real issues facing Edo State. The people deserve a leader who is committed to transparency, accountability, and good governance, not one who resorts to cheap tricks and dirty politics.

The public must be vigilant in seeking out unbiased, reliable sources of information, especially during election season when misinformation is rife.

To stay informed, I advise you to visit well-established news outlets, such as Punch and Vanguard, that have a proven track record of providing objective, accurate reporting. Avoid relying on dubious websites or social media accounts that may be spreading false information for political gain.

It is crucial to remember that informed voters are the cornerstone of a healthy democracy. By staying informed and discerning in your news consumption, you can make an informed decision when you cast your vote.

The upcoming election in Edo State is a critical opportunity for the people of the state to make their voices heard and demand better governance.

However, it is important to remain vigilant against misinformation and political propaganda, as these tactics are often used to manipulate public opinion and sway votes.

I urge you to seek out reliable sources of information, fact-check any claims you come across, and make informed decisions based on the issues that matter to you and your community.

Together, we can build a brighter future for Edo State
