"It is only an imbecile that will resolve to eat and drink when his abode is on fire."
This remark was made by a pained Nigerian student earlier this morning in his response to our President’s ongoing lecture in Monrovia, Liberia.
For a nation that seems to be battling with a fight for standard education, insecurities, insurgencies, Inflation and Recession. In the midst of his country's turbulent development, President Muhammadu Buhari left Nigeria to commemorate Liberia's 175th anniversary of independence. At the event, the president will deliver a speech on "West Africa's security, free and fair elections, and respect for the rule of law."
This comes after the release of viral video footage 2 days ago, showing the maltreatment of the Kaduna train victims by terrorists. Likewise, the threat to abduct the President and the Minister of Information and Culture.
Another Nigerian student believes that this act is erroneous and is a deliberate ridicule of the current state of the nation.
