In 2015, towards the end of Goodluck Jonathan's administration, the exposition of the current chaos started in the country-Nigeria, the bomb blast, insecurity, and others; have you forgotten?
FG called the insurgent for negotiation; the insurgent group said a presidential candidate must be in the meeting to speak for them, which means there was a relationship between the insurgent and the presidential candidate in this picture, which no one could sense or campaign against.
Some people trying to open the eyes of the Nigerians to what was about to happen were called thieves who collected money from the former government; among all the pastors, David Oyedepo of Winners chapel was crying and shedding tears not to vote for a particular presidential candidate, but Nigerians attacked him instead of paying attention and have the second thought.
Former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo advised Jonathan that negotiating with terrorists was very risky; it's just like someone who has a baby boil between his lap and keeps spreading his legs for it; it keeps expanding, but if the person had fought it the first time he spotted it, there might be a pain, but it would be just for that moment, the same thing happened to Nigeria, a land full of resources that have been looted as well as the lives of its citizens.
Nigerians gullible act pushed us to this level from 2015 until the present. Can you account for those that have died?
Many died of hunger, many killed of insurgents, many Igbo fighting for their rights were murdered; the same thing happened during the SARS saga. Protesters were killed, the FG and Lagos denied it even when CNN made a video documentary captured by the satellite.
However, many stood up to back the presidential candidate with the propaganda to spoil former government to let Nigerians see why the candidate should be voted for; they planned it together but now they regret it, and their strength cannot reverse the evil deeds they have caused.
What should Nigerians do?
Here is another opportunity before us, the 2023 general election is approaching, and many international organizations and countries are interested.
Don't collect that #5,000 during the election to vote for candidates that can't sustain you for two days.
If we plan to vote for a candidate because of the money, we are spreading our legs for another boil for good eight years, which will be full of hardship, be warned.
If there is a group of youths who have determined not to be bribed to vote, checkmate others who try to spoil the thrill, let the positive-minded group of youths hunt for the bad ones, educate them, impel or compel them to do the right thing for the good of all.
The only thing that can resolve all that has happened is to cooperate, get your PVC, vote wisely, come together and vote for the right candidate; J. F Kennedy said, “together, little we can't do, divided, little we can do.”
Albert Einstein said," Performing one thing repeatedly and expecting change is insanity.”
It can't work until you change your mindset.
