Episode 3 Review: Relationship, Family Drama, and Lies in Journey To Bloom - What Happened?

Naima's quest for her muse continues. Is the muse an inspiration or a relationship? Only time will tell. Jib's secrets need to come to light before things get more complicated. And the mean girl vibes don't suit her at all. It seems she won't be able to maintain her hide-and-seek lifestyle anymore.

Beyond the Blooming Heights College student's jokes about Tife as 'The Ghetto Girl,' I'm thrilled to see her growing friendship with Naima. Together, they're forming a powerful duo in the SKY Girls Magazine. Naima's insightful comments and advice on navigating BHC are invaluable.

Kunle's silly traits lead him to prioritise social life over schoolwork. It remains to be seen how his silly suggestions and advice will impact his relationships with other teenagers in school.

Darkoo is finding a balance between saving for university and pursuing his dreams. His connection with Naima is blossoming, and their shared interests and music tastes create a spark. Episode 3 delivered the teenage crushes we were expecting, and it was brilliantly executed.

Tife's decision to join the SKY Girls club was relatable, and her dialogue with her mother captured the childlike excitement of joining a new school club and managing finances. However, Mama Tife's resistance to using a bank account for their finances is a point of contention.

Family drama ensues as Naima's parents ground her and confiscate her phone due to her absence from literature classes. Anyone who has experienced adolescence can relate to this situation.

The love, ups, and downs in episode 3 spark many interesting questions and showcase the characters' depth. Catch the next episode every Saturday on African Magic Family at 6:30 PM and on the @SKYGirlNG YouTube page on Sunday.
