Abuducted Plateau Students regain freedom.

 


Some plateau Students held captive some days ago has been released by their abductors.

In a press release made by the president Comrade Bamidele Kehinde, the President of the JOS UNIVERSITY MEDICAL STUDENTS  ASSOCIATION (JUMSA) 


"Dear JUMSAites,

With gratitude to God, we want to announce that our fellow colleagues held captive for some days are now free.


"We want to appreciate everyone that came through at this difficult time.

Our gratitude goes to the parents for their efforts, the school authority, the leadership of Association of Resident Doctors; JUTH, Leadership of NMA Plateau State, past JUMSA leaders, and fellow JUMSAites. 

At the end, God came through for us all.

In an interview with a student of University of Jos with All Campus Show via phone call this morning, Miss Faith lamented on the incident, described it as 50/50, in her words, Faith said "This is very risky to students when maximum security can't be provided during an excursion or external assignment, I want to urge the management to reduce any engagement that takes students out of the campus and they ensure to give security for any compulsory assignment, I want to also call on our president, Bola Tinubu should please help us to work on the security.
