My name is Busuyi Ojo-Jobus, I am the founder and president of All Campus Show, Nigeria.
I am a news writer and publisher, a filmmaker, public speaker and public relations personnel. I have a passion for people's welfare and always like to put solutions to people's problems.
Through All Campus Show, I have built a national media students team to oversee the state executives in all states of the country; we set this up to get closer to students where we have opportunities to understand what many students go through on campus.
All Campus Show has solved many individual and general problems on campus for management and students at large.
Moreover, as a writer, I have done a lot of research about women, focusing on why our women have limited space at the top places in the world. I was worried when I was little, I realized my mother, as well as others, had limited say in the labor market globally. I asked my father why the world treats women this way, and he told me I would understand later.
I have a passion to make women rule as men do, and this motivated me, so I started researching when I grew up a bit.
In 2014, I approached Madam Folorunsho Alakija, richest woman in Africa, to share her secrets so I could write and publish them for public consumption and for many women to emulate the secret points and shine. After meeting with Folorunsho Alakija, she stated that many women fail to make it to the top due to the background of their minds. She listed what many women lack that marginalizes them from breakthroughs in their field, especially in the political world. Alakija said, "Inability to sacrifice some certain things, looking for attention and some other distractions have made women lose many things."
She advised me to conduct personal research, saying, "Go and do your personal research, don't dwell on what I am telling you alone. For your work to be accepted and for you to have authority, go and do your personal research, make friends with fellow female friends and test them with lots, and you will see by yourself."
Therefore, I did what she told me and observed many women. I weep for women because many face problems due to self marginalization. I have tested many females, and over 97% of them failed.
It's sad and unbelievable, but let me tell those who doubt it to conduct their own research, as Alakija advised.
I have fought for many females to be empowered through All Campus Show, but many have used the power I gave them against me. Many ladies lie to get sympathy from society, and with emotions, the world believes them if they cry but within them, they know it's lie they give, they pretend and deceive a lot.
Many men have been victims of their blackmail, because most of them are cunning. I have also hidden my motives to ask some girls funny questions whenever I had encounter with them to see how they will respond to them, but many will take the questions seriously.
This has become issues about me many times. Many have lied against me in this course to draw sympathy to themselves. I was only saved because many around know me and know how I do behave.
Many truths have been seen that their aim is to lie against me for people to have sympathy on them. A lady came to attack a girl that lied on me one time that she, lived in my house for more than two months without doing any funny things with her; that I didn't even ask her out but was feeding her and respecting her. She also told the girl that "Jobus has helped many girls and guys without any selfish interest, many girls and guys he helped testify about his generosity without any attachments, a guy told me Jobus sponsored him in school when he was contesting for SUG post, said many Campus leaders collect money from them but Jobus help to attain the office and still give them financial help, I can testify to it in my entire life that Jobus is not negative they call him" The girl that lied on me now came to apologize that she just likes me and wanted something. You see? It's funny indeed.
I am not saying all this out of hatred but to report what I have observed for change and have access to what have marginalized them from ruling, make them rule to make me happy.
Then I used the secrets Alakija shared with all my experience to write a book in 2024 after a decade. I wrote a book titled "Keys That Make a Woman Shine" to address these issues.
To illustrate this problem faced by the female gender, consider the movie series 'Game of Thrones'. There's a female character called Daenerys; she was humble at the beginning of the movie, inherited different powers and authority. According to the movie series, you are seen as powerful by the men of war and war equipment you have. Daenerys had 10,000 unsullied soldiers, the whole of the fearful Targaryian soldiers, and three fighting dragons.
However, when she gained power, pride set in, and she started misbehaving. Ultimately, her life ended when her own brother killed her because of how she started misbehaving, saying she might asked for him to be killed.
Another reference I will like to point is Donald Trump's proposal to against a law that women get half of men's property in divorce cases. Some women might marry a rich man to divorce him and get half of his property, which is wrong, women have lost the privilege in America because they have taken the good society treat them for granted.
Looking at the reference that happened In the Adamawa governorship election in 2023, a female candidate was leading, but the male candidate was announced the winner. It's unclear what happened, but maybe the female candidate's behavior contributed to the outcome.
I have had horrible experiences with the female gender while researching their capacity to rule. I have taken girls out and asked them to pay for what both of us bought to see her reactions, shouted at girls to see their reactions, and observed their behavior. Some girls will hate you when you decide not to ask them out; they'll blackmail you or lie to gain sympathy.
I have empowered many ladies and young men, giving them responsibility to rule. While the men ruled well, the ladies misbehaved along the way.
Should I say women are naturally not meant for leadership roles? But I will still say no because of the love I have for them to rule.
However, the Queen of England ruled, and in Nigeria, Alakija and Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala are examples of women who know the secrets to success and have used them to shine, some good women are also the rock and pillar behind most successful men, you should not rule women out, you should rule with them.
To become a ruler as a woman, you need to get my book, "Keys That Make a Woman Shine," on selar.com
