Since 1988, ASUU has been agitating for development of Nigeria Education which was renewed in 2009, therefore unfortunately, no government has taken this seriously and it's causing students lots of years wasted on campus. ASUU as a Union of lecturers has been doing samething over and over and expect change which Albert Eistein described as insanity which made military government disbanded them in 1993.
The Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities are set to meet today again to address the union's grievances and the strike notice.
The meeting is a result of the ASUU's 21-day strike notice issued to the government, calling for the resolution of outstanding issues.
