A Human Right activist and President of One Love Foundation, Father of Nigerian Students-FONS, Chief Osagie Patrick Eholor otherwise known as Ultimate Equal has condemned the actions of Ex-Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire for poor performance while in office.
According to him, government officials primary duty is to the people they are serving.
Chief Eholor emphatically stated that even though Clem Agba, Ex-Minister of Budget did not represent all of Edo State, yet he was able to create tangible things for his people.
"Unlike our own brother, the outgoing Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire who did not carry out any project as Clem Agba did some works in his town"
Speaking further on this, Chief Eholor mentioned that during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Edo people were supported with palliatives from the Nigeria government as well as some international organizations but, Dr. Ehanire Osagie refused to encourage sharing of those palliatives nor visit the hospital.
"Now he is building a gigantic hospital that has nothing to offer the public, when you guys become the Minister, you are expected to serve your people, it is a must if you people don't know, is the institution for you or the public? therefore you must respect the opinions and welfare of the people, that should be your priority not your pocket or your convinience" He said
Eholor also lamented on how he was being extorted in UBTH during covid-19, if I can be treated bad in a government hospital, how much more the voiceless patients that are dieing everyday due to the poor facilities and the negligence of the staff.
According to him, the hospital charged him thirty thousand naira for covid-19 test,who does that,the rate of extortion is much and no society can grow without giving hope to the people.
Nonetheless, Chief Eholor reveal that he is ready to give his support to any government officials who is set to do right things regardless of his or her tribe, I will keep on addressing issues like this, talk about those who are the hyenas and vampires in the government, whether you are my tribe person or not, I will expose you and this is part of my duties as a patroitic Nigerians.
