Some University of Benin Students under the Aegis of All Campus Show Benin Chapter, has recently paid a Courtesy Visit to Comr. Kelly Ogbalor, Chairman Labor Party Edo State Chapter, to discuss bothering issues surrounding the forthcoming February 25th Election.
The team which had the All Campus Show President, Ojo Busuyi Jobus as leader, included The Mayoress of Margaret Ekpo Hostel, University of Benin, The Assistant Public Relation Officer of the National Association of Delta State Students (NADESSTU) and the Outgoing University of Benin Faculty of Arts Students Association (FASA) Deputy Governor.
It was a short visit which saw the discussion of salient issues bothering the mind of Nigerian Students. Upon arrival at his Office, the Students received a warm reception as he Commended them for taking keen interest in the Electioneering process of their Country especially these times when Critical Decision is required to elect a new leader.
Asked what the Party intends to offer Nigerian Students if
Elected, He said the Party will ensure maximum development in Education, as well as the extinction of incessant Strike Actions adding that the Academic Sector will be faced thoroughly to cover loopholes affecting the System.
He Emphasized that the Labor Party is not Money Centred but Production Centred . He also said the Party is Centred on taking cognisance the life of a family person, using the party's logo as a case point.
He further Charged Students and Nigerians in General, to do what is right and to be confident in themselves to take the right Decision to fight Insecuriy , Poverty and Hunger.
At the end of the Visit, Ojo Busuyi Jobus, on behalf of the team, expressed deep gratitude for the warm welcome received and wished the Party Success in Forth Coming Elections.
Comr. Kelly further assured the Students, that his doors are always opened to discuss issues from time to time.
