Back then in my childhood days, I can vividly recall how we were thoroughly disciplined in school by our class teachers and even our further refusal to disclose what happened in School to our parents, for the fear of more discipline.
As a matter of fact, no one wanted to be beaten twice for his offense as such misbehaviors attracts further discipline from parents and as such we do not utter a word about our ordeal when we get home.
Those days, we thought they were wicked but as we grew up, we discovered that our acquaintance with these rebukes, and incessant disciplines had Instilled great respect, cultured our attitudes towards life and helped us prevent misfortune, we have common and uncommon senses working in us. Sadly, nowadays it is hardly so. In the absence of discipline young children are so spoilt, they wallow in ignorance and are very lazy to learn and accept training directly or indirectly .
Talking about children born within 1995 till date, it is safe to say they have some common things binding them like disrespect, lack of courtesy, a shameless generation I must confess. It is surprising to know that they were raised by men and women,who tasted iron hands from their parents, guardians, or teachers but have refused to relay this values to their children and failure in this part has yielded the destruction of great lives, just as the holy book said: Spare the rod and spoil the child-Proverbs 13:24
In contemporary educational system, teachers can no longer beat pupils at school again... and you will justify this? In fact, some parents follow their children to warn or fight school teachers, these set of parents pamper children at home like dolls, no wonder it's affecting the females so much to the extent that they can't do anything good by themselves, they are facially beautiful though, that is the only good things they are good at,is wearing makeup, beautifying their faces and fingers but no beauty in their brain, interestingly, if you engage these girls in a conversation , you will be disappointed with the kind of attitude they will reply you with, I am not trying to condemn anyone but reporting my researches and experience, most of them will hiss at this post, because they are never ready to change but it will be too late when they want to change, although not all of them possess this attitude, a huge amount of 96% females reportedly possess it.
Don't get it twisted, I really love doing commercial things with ladies, especially those that are good amongst them, even though they are rare to come across these days. In society today, most young ladies sit idly waiting for boys to come and woo them, they only know how to twist boy friends up and down and then finally accept but the indiscipline will not even let the relationship last. It's always a thing of war, with constant quarrels and fights. How will they manage their future homes? This is no doubt a result of in discipline. We were not like that in our time, kids of these days don't understand the way of life, they don't even know how to talk or respond in communication, I really don't know what happened to this generation.
On the other hand, many boys have openly identified themselves as Internet fraudsters, in one way or the other, they are so proud of it in the society, they also make it open to their parents, could you believe some parents encourage this and turn themselves to their children's accomplice, An African Proverb says "the child we refuse to build will sell the house we build" it is happening now, we see many boys use their sister's and mother's pant for what they use it for, has it not back fired? Because they were not trained to have the fear of God and man, there are no restrictions in their evil activities. Thus even leaving people surrounding them as victims of their cruel actions.
Eureka! I have found a preferred solution, I and my All Campus Show team will make a plead to the Ministry of Education as well as other academic stakeholders that though the present parents have failed and I pray they don't suffer it in their old age, according to the previous used African proverb "the child we refuse to build will sell the house we build" ,we will write to the Ministry of Education to please add home training as a general course to tertiary institutions, present parents have failed ooo, but the school can rescue this glorious future, that, if any student fails this course, he or she will not graduate until they pass it. In a bid to pass it, they will study and assimilate these values which will enter their mind, bones and marrows.
I know many people will criticize this write up but the lives of these young ones must be rescued. Thank you.
