A 300-level student of Business Administration at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, identified as Ebuka Joshua, has reportedly committed suicide after consuming a sniper.
The incident was confirmed by Unizik Plus, a campus press outfit in the school via a Facebook post on Friday.
According to report, the deceased Ebuka Joshua, has been battling with depression from the beginning of this semester following his inability to cope with his studies.
This comes 2 Weeks after Nalkur a final year student of Federal University Kashere in Gombe State, The faculty of Education Student suffered depression which he resulted to him committing Suicide. Reports has it that he took his life after he was betrayed by his supposed girlfriend as well as his inability to posses a smartphone of 50,000 despite having a rich Father.
Also, Prior to Nalkur’s incident report an un identified Final year Public Administration Student of Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State died after deliberate in take of sniper due to heartbreak.
All Campus Show reports that the rate of suicide among young people in Nigeria, especially University students, is alarming and without further hesitation the Issue should be visited and Curbed by the Federal Government and authorities involved.
