Nigerian students should take note: What young people can do to live long


Health is wealth and a healthy lifestyle promotes longevity.


However, acquiring this lifestyle requires consistency and deliberate commitment.

To this end, the issue of healthy living can never be overemphasized.

Because Rome is not built in a day, the following tips can help you imbibe a healthy lifestyle.

Eating Healthy

You are what you eat, the quality of food/substances you consume in your systems determines the outcome.


 Sadly, many young people do not acknowledge this truth.

 As nowadays a lot of them resolve to eat mixtures of junk such as instant noodles, and the likes just as opposed to the traditional ritual eating advised to drink lots of water instead of opting for poisonous chemical substances like carbonated drinks.

Many foods these days contain preservatives, like canned meals and noodles gradually kill the body system and the life span of the person who is fond of consuming this food might not live up to 60 years; why because the body system develops sickness once the hormones get weak.


 

That is why many young people at age of 40 die of cancer and other related illness.

Taking care of one's health is paramount and what you eat matters a lot.

Body Exercise 

Exercise for body fitness makes the body healthy, many are fond of exposing their body to cold, from air-conditioned cars to rooms with air conditioning. It's very unhealthy.

Also, exercising at least 2 times a week is good. 

Because when you make your body hot with exercise, you live longer, burn calories, and can easily feel confident about your body size especially if you are overweight. 

In 2020 the World health organization affirmed the importance of regularly consuming vegetables, legumes, nuts, and whole grains. They said it helps in the reduction of malnutrition and non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as diabetes, heart disease, stroke and cancer, and the like. When next you feel like grabbing a snack, you should give fruits a trial. 

Regular exercise with good food, I mean natural foods consumption, drinking excess water will make you live longer because you are providing what your body wants.


Again, indulge our beloved students and youths to learn how to drink a lot of water, with fruits and vegetables; eating preservatives is something that should be ceremonial, just once in a while

Lastly, I plead with young people to run away from urgent 2k syndrome and borrowing. 

Rest of mind is also another thing that gives long life, manage the resources you have, and avoids borrowing money you can't refund. 

Look for whatever can give you peace of mind and enjoy the rest of your life.
