Chief Patrick lambastes Okorocha; hails Nigerian youths

The Nigerian vocal emancipator, Chief Patrick Eholor, Founder and President of One Love Foundation, has ridiculed Imo State Governor and All Progressives Congress Presidential aspirant Rochas Okorocha for his dishonorable and despicable conduct following his forceful arrest by the EFCC at his Abuja apartment.

In his words, "He's merely trying to enrage Southerners by implying that some powerful Northerners are to blame for his downfall. Okorocha should be ashamed of himself. Why would a two-time governor and senator turn himself into a fugitive in his own home? If he thinks he's clean and doesn't believe he has any skeletons in his closets, he should have been brave enough to throw open the doors, and all that will be discovered inside are clothing and lovely shoes."

All Campus Media asked the Democracy Observer, if there's any hope of eradicating corruption and bad governance in Nigeria. He said,

"There will always be these excesses in our everyday life. The criminals propagating corruption, in my opinion, are the Civil service officers. If our law constitutes fines against this corrupt miscreant, corruption will be reduced drastically. Also, we need to reform and restructure our police system from the top-bottom."

He urged young people not to rely on the Nigeria Labour System's deception and lies to enhance the country's job structure.

“The youths should be passionate about what they have dreamt of becoming. When you are a farmer abroad, you are richer than the guy who studied technology in school. Youths should diversify and commit themselves to other trade exploits. Look at Ukraine; for example, they supply wheat to the world, and youths in Nigeria can do the same.”

On the other hand, the Human Rights Activist condemns the EFCC officials for their animalistic shooting, saying, "that in apprehending the Governor, an innocent Nigerian could have been killed by a stray bullet."

However, he beckons on the Federal government and EFCC to prosecute former Governor Rochas Okorocha, and if found guilty, he should serve his jail time.
