Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma Edo State has confirmed the death of 2 final-year students who died in a motor accident while celebrating the completion of their final examinations in a car grooving.
All Campus Show correspondence reported on Wednesday that a set of fresh graduates in a long convoy grooved with their cars on the highway as a sign of their signing-out activities as usual.
Confirming the incident, the Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Edo Command, Cyril Mathew, said one person died while five others sustained varying degrees of injuries but our correspondence reported after several investigation that they were 2 students that died.
All Campus Show correspondence said the accident happened when the student who drove, overtook a trailer on speed and collided with another trailer parked along the road.
