Obaseki's Incendiary Rhetoric and Questionable Ties: A Call for Accountability.

In the wake of Governor Godwin Obaseki's recent threats towards the opposition party and his alleged connections to controversial figures, it is time for the people of Edo State and Nigeria as a whole to demand accountability and transparency from their elected leader.

Obaseki's warning that Nigeria will "burn" if the All Progressives Congress (APC) repeats its past actions is not only inflammatory but also dangerously provocative. Such rhetoric is unbecoming of a governor and only serves to escalate tensions and sow discord among the populace. We must condemn these words and call for Obaseki to focus on fostering unity and peace rather than division.

The governor's purported ties to individuals such as Osaigbovo Iyoha, his Chief of Staff and alleged member of the M@phite confr@ternity, raise serious questions about Obaseki's commitment to law and order. It is crucial that the governor addresses these concerns and clarifies his stance on cultism and other illegal activities.

As citizens of Edo State and Nigeria, we must hold our leaders accountable for their actions and associations. We deserve a government that prioritizes transparency, justice, and the well-being of its people over political agendas and personal interests. It is time for Obaseki to take responsibility for his words and actions and demonstrate his dedication to the betterment of Edo State and its citizens.
