The Lagos State-Ojokoro Local Council Development Area of the Center of Excellence in Nigeria on Saturday awash with the chairmanship screening result of the Leading party All Progressive Congress(APC).
At the top of the list of the just concluded result coming from Ojokoro Local Council Development Area(OLCDA) was the name of the man who has led an outstanding leadership and career all his life in the name of *Hon. (Tpl.) Makinde Rasheed Olanrewaju, fnitp, rtp.
Not only did he top the list, he scored 100% in a brilliant and distinctive performance- razzling dazzling his opponents and the entire 57 local government screening process entirely, he is the only performance generalissimo of the screening process that scored 100% in the whole of Lagos in a “Just Wow” outcome.
Hon. (Tpl.) Makinde Rasheed Olanrewaju, fnitp, rtp. is not a stranger in the theatre of leadership masterclass, and his antecedence says a lot about his 100% screening score, which didn’t catch keen observers by surprise,

As an assembly member in Lagos State House of Assembly, representing Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency II he passed the bill that gave birth to what we know as Agege Pen cinema bridge today.
*The Abule Egba bridge that has saved the users of the road from the woebegone traffic that used to bedevil them is a testament of his master touch to leadership.
* So many roads in Ojokoro LCDA communities like: ADEPEGBA, IKEREKI ODAN, ADETOLA, AINA, AJAYI, ALAKUKO, ORILE, AGBADO, MOSALASHI and many other are products of his influence during his time as an Assembly member representing his constituency.
Hon. Makinde is known for his grassroots-oriented approach to governance. He has a long list of achievement unsung.
He has initiated several empowerment programs aimed at improving the lives of his constituents. These include sponsoring vocational training for over 250 constituents and distributing free Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms to students. More so, When the world needed their leaders the most during the COVID-19 pandemic, he was there.
A man who doesn’t blow his own trumpet, displays excellence with ease, loved by all and most especially his formidable followers. He is a man worthy of his score and the 100% is definitely not served to him on a silver platter.
The screening result is an insignia and the Ojokoro residents must not miss their own chance to elect a leader that will take their community out of the wood and lead them the path of greatness and real development as the election approaches.
