With this current national trend, if care is not taken, prisoners may soon have to start using their own money to purchase daily food consumptions.
Corruption has become so rampant in Nigeria even among the masses that nail and criticize the government, and this is very disheartening, the unethical behavior can still be traced back to the educational sector, where current professors once enjoyed free meals as students and unfortunately, the whole thing has shifted towards exploitation and extortion, which has completely wiped out the generosity that was once enjoyed.

I willl say it one more time - if universities can't handle their responsibilities properly, then the government should not give them any autonomy.
Think about how unfair it is for them to keep milking money out of students while still taking government funds in order to embezzle these funds.
Can't the amount of money made by these universities be used in keeping things running smoothly if they're well managed?
And I'll keep saying this if you'll look deep into the matter with me;
The issues in this country don't solely stem from the president, we also contribute in a way.
It's mind-boggling to think about the funds allocated to prisons when you see what the inmates are served, we can say these prisoners are served just empty plates and dishes to eat, what I mean is that they are not well treated at all.
And let's not even get started on universities - they have access to hefty sums yet keep raising tuition fees and demanding acceptance fees left and right which they can't define what most of these bills are for. I will appreciate if any Vice Chancellor can boldly come out and tell me the reason for acceptance fee but if not, shame on all of them.
The whole final year clearance drama feels like another money-making scheme. Nigerian universities, you're not winning any awards for integrity here. 😢😢
