The Rivers State University has suspended four students who are members of the Man O' War for one academic session, for assaulting another student, Victor Tobin.
Recall that Victor Tobin, a 300-level Student of the Sociology Department of the Faculty of Social Science said he was assaulted for walking on their pavement on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the acting Registrar of the University, Ibimonia Harry in a statement said the suspensions of Monsi Nwaaelibabari of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Victor Daniel of the Department of Animal Science, Ezems Goodluck of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Wilson Ree-Ugani of the Department of Marine Engineering were approved on Friday.
The statement said the actions of the four students were contrary to the regulations of the University, and as such, approved their suspension for one academic session.
