UNIJOS Protest: Management Dances to Students' Beat

The University of Jos has successfully resolved the rancor that led to the closure of the school gate on Monday morning.

The students complained bitterly about the poor health center facilities, inadequate power supply, insufficient water supply, and the death of a fellow student, Ms. Cherry, a 300L political science student. Addressing the students, Professor Tanko Ishaya promised to resolve every issue with immediate effect.

Although the Institution's PRO, Mr. Abdullahi, spoke with All Campus Show via phone call, stating that only one student died and she didn't die at the health center but at the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH). Abdullahi also mentioned that the school management is working hard to ensure students live a good life while on campus.

The Vice-Chancellor called for an emergency meeting with stakeholders and students. He apologized for the loss of the student and immediately swung into action to prepare some hostels and renovate other areas. As we speak, the atmosphere in the institution is friendly, and everybody has returned to classes and offices respectively.
