Nigeria is a great country with great people who deserve good standard of living and services.
Although, Tinubu led administration spending upto a year in power which there had been inflation on all goods and commodities from the first day in the office and unfortunately, many have died due to this hardship and fortunately, the rising dollar price have started coming down.
In a trending video by Chief Dr. Patrick Osagie Eholor (FoNS) otherwise known as Ultimate Equal, the Global President of One Love Foundation, senior advocate of the masses and the voice of the voiceless.
In his statement, Dr. Eholor fought for the masses, suggesting to the Federal Ministry of Commerce as well as Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) to work hand in hand to ensure that there's standard price control, there should be no advocacy on this because this is one of the core responsibilities of that office, if they are not capable enough to work then there's no need of that office
"Long before now the issue of price control was taken very seriously and selling a goods more than the stipulated price is a punishable offence which if care isn't taken a particular shop or supermarket could be sealed off just for it. But one may wonder how and where we got it all wrong from."
"Everyone keeps advocating for made in Nigeria products yet the current product available, prices are not being controlled by the Federal Government."
"Nigeria is just a country where people just do things the way they like and how they want it without the government controlling anything, all the government is after is taxation and nothing else. Our safety as a citizen is in the hands of God, our purchasing power is in our tongue or mouth with enough abeg, how we get jobs after graduation is by chances or we bribe our way in."
The hardship in this country is just too much and unnecessary yet we have a government! What are the things we are really enjoying from the government? Dr. Eholor concluded
According to Channelstv.com "Officials of FCCPC were at several supermarkets in Abuja to initiate a campaign to enforce price display and quantity compliance."
"The move is a direct response to concerns raised by consumers about the rising costs of goods which go against the recent strengthening of the naira against major currencies."
"The Commission said price discrepancies remain a significant issue."
