The Father of Nigerian Students-FONS, Chief Dr. Patrick Osagie Eholor otherwise known as Ultimate Equal as well as Dele Adeyanju, have launched an attack on the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) officials over their purported plans to initiate another strike over prevailing economic crisis in the country.
According www.bushradiogist.com, Adeyanju said that "NLC has threatened to strike during President Tinubu’s administration, the concern lies in the lack of tangible outcomes from past strikes, leading Nigerians to lose faith in the credibility and effectiveness of the NLC’s mandate.
"At the time of compiling this report, under the comment section of Deji Adeyanju’s tweet where he derided the NLC, he wrote, “Nigerian Labour Thieves, oh sorry Congress…” Nigerians are currently yearning for Joe Ajearo to emulate the leadership style of Senator Adams Oshiomhole of Edo North during his tenure as the NLC president under the Obasanjo regime. Oshiomhole’s tenure was marked by bold actions that sent shockwaves through the political elites, addressing pressing issues faced by the masses."
According to Dr. Eholor in his statement, he said " The act by these people have caused lots of chaos which has resulted to corruption, hunger, loss of lives, kidnapping, Armed Robbery, Herdsman etc.
"If people are not stealing money, there would be a gainful employment, good infrastructure, economic pride and so many things but because they are stealing of money, we are not able to achieve any of these.
"Meanwhile, we have to ensure that Edu has to go to jail, she has to pay for her sins not only confiscating her properties and the EFCC has told us previously that they have recovered money in three months of their surgeon.We are happy for them but they should list the people they recovered the money from and their offences.We don't want any brief bargain, they have to sort out time, some have to go to jail, if possible some should be sentenced to death by firing squad, these are the only way Nigeria can change.
"It's also more shameful when we see the speaker of Green chambers of the House of assembly defending Gbajabiamila and people allowing him on social media. I don't know how he suddenly became a lawyer defending Gbajabiamila, maybe because he's looking for his favour because they are birds of the same feather that flocks together.
"I make example today about Obasanjo when he was our president and how he was able to recover money that was looted by people. So it's a shame if Tinubu cannot do the same thing because most of these people contributed to his campaign. Tinubu knows them, most of these people were lifting oils without vessels and the bankers were also part of the criminals.
"If this country must change, it's not the strike by Ajaero. The NLC as have said are toothless bulldogs, they are good for nothing. It should be disbanded so we don't need any protest because the protest also add more problems to us by crippling the economy more and after the protest, there is no good result it becomes bad as usual.
"Adams Oshiomole was the biggest noise maker when it comes to protest. Adams Oshiomole after making all the noise using his students, he runs back to Asokoro.
"Micheal Imodu of blessed memory, he was the only one who protested for us successfully because he was able to bargain with the government successfully that the people were able to get the yearning of democracy from the government.
That was when the government was afraid of the citizens but now the government is not afraid of the citizens but the citizens are afraid of the government.
"I think Joe Ajaero should sit in his comfort zone and shut up, he should not call any protest again because since the administration of the illegality of what the court did by the suppression of our votes, the NLC couldn't do anything about a bag of Rice becoming 80,000 naira and they still did nothing, is it now the NLC are going to do something for us? NLC is a total failure, we don't need them, we don't want them and we won't suppress any call of action from them because their strike actions cripples the economy more.
"Bankers and Religion leaders are part of our problem, an instance is when a pastor requested for 60 billion for prayer, Even God would not request that much for prayers, it's only jn Nigeria that such is been done caused have never witnessed that in my life." Dr. Eholor concluded
