A 300 Level Students of University of Jos, Miss Anita from the department of English has been arrested for stabbing Julius Nember, a 200 Level Students from the department of Library and information Science.
It was reported that Anita stabbed Julius because he was playing loud music and making noise in his own room.
According to our correspondence, Anita has complained to Julius she could not read in her room due to the noise from his room, this argument turned to a clash and crash in which Anita stabbed Julius on the left anterior chest wall.
According to the Press release by the National Union of Benue State Students (NUBESS) University of Jos which was issued on Saturday, the report said " Julius lost several pints of blood and was rushed to the hospital where investigation review penetrating chest injury, Julius underwent thoracotomy which was successful as he is still on admission for further treatment and full recovery."
However, Anita is currently in the police custody while Julius is in the intensive Care unit of Teaching Hospital.
