A female Fresher once resumed into 100 level in a Nigerian University. A girl known to be a Child of a Pastor of a renowned Church. Few weeks into her resumption, the ASUU Strike took place which was last year and she was forced to go back home.
After she returned home, her mom realized that it's been a while her daughter asked for a Pad. Which is quite unusual of her . She has the habit of asking her mum for money to buy Pad for monthly period since she has no work of her own. Then the mother became suspicious that something must have happened.
After a long suspiciousness, the mother one day looked into the face of her daughter and said " Daughter dress up and follow me to the Hospital now!!"
The daughter replied " Mum, what happened? Why must I follow you to an hospital? " "I am not sick"
The Mother replied" You have the gut to ask me questions, dress up and let's go"
Feeling confused as she too is unaware of her predicament, she dressed up and followed her mum to the hospital. Then the Clinician took sample of her urine, blood etc and was asked to come back for results.
On getting back, the Clinician broke the news that their precious daughter is pregnant. "Preg what!" The father cried like a baby.
The saddest part of the story is that the boy who impregnated her is also a fresher who is in 100 level like her.
This story is to teach all incoming all Female freshers to be very careful when they resume. Maintain your dignity and do not give ears to any man out there, just run for your life.
