Asari Dokubo, the Niger Delta militant leader has announced that he and his gang of militants are working for President Bola Tinubu of the ruling All Progressives Congress.
He made a testimony once that Tinubu rescued his family when he was in the prison therefore he warned that anybody who misbehaves or seeks Tinubu’s downfall will be smashed.
According to Sahara report yesterday, the report says "Dokubo, whom the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) had accused of being responsible for killings and criminalities in Imo and Anambra states in Southeast Nigeria and Southern Kaduna in the North, said while addressing militants on parade."
"The parade of up to 300 militants, which was captured on video, was reportedly held after Asari Dokubo returned from a pilgrimage to Mecca."
"Dokubo said, "Whatever the enemies are planning, they will fail. I am not a ghost. I just come Saudi Arabia (I just returned from Saudi Arabia). We are here. We work for President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and he will succeed. Anybody who is planning for him to fail, that person already failed."
"We are not competing with anybody. We have never competed with anybody. It is turn by turn. It is Jagaban turn, so, wait for your turn. If you do anyhow, you see anyhow."
Recently in June, after Tinubu's swearing in as President, there had been a lots of people visiting the president, Dokubo also visited him at the Presidential Villa, saying Tinubu had been his father for him for over 30 years.
Sahara Reporter also reported that "During the visit, he alleged that 99 percent of oil theft in the Niger Delta was done by the Nigerian military, especially the Army and the Navy."
"Briefing State House Correspondents after his meeting with Tinubu, Dokubo disclosed that he had volunteered to end the menace knowing that he would be fully protected by Tinubu’s administration."
In a trending video about Dokubo, he is seen brandishing guns and boasting about how his father sold Igbos into slavery and how he can kill all of them.
Dokubo said that if not for the intervention of the British government, he would have been selling Igbos into slavery.
“You are law-abiding. Igbos I don't know them. I don't know where they come from because I know that if not for Britain's intervention, I will still be selling them the way my father sold them."
Reacting to these, Chief Dr. Patrick Osagie Eholor otherwise known as Ultimate Equal, President of One Love Foundation and The Father of Nigerian Students-FONS, Senior Advocate of the Masses.
In his statement today he said:
"Nnamdi Kanu did not do up to Asari Dokubo yet he was arrested and till now he is still facing trials but here we have Asari Dokubo brandishing all sorts of ammunitions, he defiled the Presidential Coat of Arm and insulted the military and yet not even the Presidency or DSS is doing anything about it, is the military or the DSS afraid of him to be arrested for the threats he is giving to the igbos who are the citizens and occupants of the Southeast region of Nigeria. DSS left their major duty but following the Yahoo boys without achieving sanitizing the political space."
"My Question now is, Does Asari Dokumbo have an immunity clause which we the citizens are not aware of or what sort of games is the Federal Government trying to play in here?"
"If Asari Dokubo can not be arrested, then free Nnamdi Kanu immediately."
"The IGP of Police, Kayode Egbetokun after his appointment as the IGP referred to himself as a Lion and Tiger at the same time, even ordinary Lion will work towards arresting any animal in the jungle as the king of the jungle, the atmosphere was clear when he said Lion and Tiger are in him, why is the Lion scared of ordinary Baboon in the Zoo or the Jungle, sir sue Asari Dokubo for all the threats so there would be peace."
