Breakings: Eholor Lambasts NLC, calls it Toothless Bulldog.

The Nigeria Labour Congress [NLC] was formally constituted as the only national federation of trade unions in the country in 1978. Before then, four labour centres existed. These are Nigeria Trade Union Congress [NTUC], Labour Unity Front [LUF], United Labour Congress [ULC] and Nigeria Workers Council [NWC]. The emergence of the NLC ended decades of rivalry and rancour involving the four centres and unions affiliated to them.

The fundamental aims and objectives of the Congress are to protect, defend, promote the rights, and well being and the interests of all workers, pensioners, the trade unions and the working class in general; and also to

promote and defend a Nigerian nation that would be just, democratic, transparent and prosperous, unfortunately, NLC is gradually and rapidly working against it aims which has made it people suffer from the hands of the the government set to provide and protect their interest.

In an interview with the Chairman of Le Patriot Hotels and Home, the Father of Nigerian Students-FONS, Global President of One Love Foundation, Chief Dr. Patrick Osagie Eholor otherwise known as Ultimate Equal who described NLC as a shameless body that suffers it people for lack of self courage.

Eholor said in his statement that:

"The last time Nigeria had a vibrant and dogged Labour Congress was during the administration of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in 2012, the Nigerian Labour Congress massively canvasses and protested causing a Nationwide shutdown for the fuel subsidy removal, in that protest even the likes of Prof. Wole Soyinka came out to protest as Nigeria was on total lockdown. But what has become of that same Nigeria Labour Congress today? The congress is now a shadow of itself and it's now portrayed as "TOOTHLESS BULLDOG" by many, because they will come out to threaten protest and go behind to settle with enemies of the average Nigerians."

"One would expect by now that the Nigeria Labour would have hit the road and organize a massive protest to protect the interest of its common man regards to the subsidy removal and fuel increment but no they choose to remain calm and till now nothing has been heard from the President Joe Ajaero."

"First it was INEC giving us a forcefield result, and then to the Petroleum sector increasing their pump price even when it is not yet time, then to the ₦8,000 and bulletproof car saga, yet we have NLC and TUC who are supposed to be on the side of the common man."

"Of what use is the NLC and TUC anymore? It is better we don't have a pocket than to have one that is filled with holes."

"You will recall that even during the Endsars protest the NLC were nowhere to be found, during the ASUU strike, NLC were nowhere to be found also, even at the detriment of our children being at home for so many months."

"Indeed the Nigeria "Losers" Congress has failed us, therefore we have come come together as Nigerians and fight for our rights, to ease the nation from this hard time, Yes we can-President Barack Obama."
