Some University of Benin Students under the Aegis of All Campus Show(ACS) Benin Chapter, ACS in an inter-political party courtesy visit has just recently paid a Courtesy Visit to Rt. Hon. Chief Elizabeth Uyinmwen Ativie, JP the Labor Party Candidate, Federal House of Representative representing Orhionmwon &Uhunmwode Federal Constituency. The visit saw the discussion of salient issues bothering the mind of Nigerian Students ,focusing specially, on the Orhionmwon &Uhunmwode Constituency in Edo State.
The team which was Led by the All Campus Show National President, Ojo Busuyi Jobus as leader and Spokesperson, received a warm reception from her Manager who welcomed and ushered the Young ones into her residence. Upon arrival, she Lauded the young ones for taking keen interest in the Electioneering process of their Country especially these times when Critical Decision is required to choose right.
Discussing her candidature, Hon. Chief Ativie declared that her service is passion. According to her, from her early days as a member of the Girls Guide Association , she has always been commited to serving Humanity, and her passion in serving Edo youths and others , led to her emergence as the First Female National Youth Council of Nigeria ,Edo State Chapter and the First Female National President of National Youth Council Nigeria. She Affirmed that her regime brought about legal recognition to youths of Nigeria.
She said to bring about Change, one has to be in a recognized position of Authority, because of the power attached to that position. In a bid to make a change,she delved into the Sea of Politics and became the First Female in Edo state House of Assembly with lasting impacts in the lives of her constituents focusing especially on quality Health care ,Improved Education amongst others.
As she Granted Scholarships to Children of indigenes, provided Learning materials to pupils, Built Schools, Structured the foundation of a general hospital, fixed roads, promoted and rendered Quality Health care Services in her Constituency.
She highlighted Bad Road, Lack of Water, Lack of adequate Electricity, Lack of inadequate Health Care Facilities amongst others as issues her and her Constituents are faced with and further outlined Projects to Anticipate when she emerges. She swore to draw electricity to Uhunmwode from the National Grid and the Completion of the General Hospital as first on her list if elected.
She said she is the right person for the mandate to rescue Uhunmwode/ Orhionmwon because of her experience in the struggle these past years.
At the end of the discussion, ACS President on behalf of the team, Commended Hon. Ativie for her humility, high level of maturity in public and wisdom in dealing with Crisis.
