Following the termination of the Asuu Strike, the Proactive President of the Student Union Government in University of Jos, Comrade Joshua Danladi has recently set up a Seven Man Committee to Liaise with Landlords of Off Campus Students . He disclosed this in a statement which was released on Oct 14th.
According to the statement, the committee is set to take charge of matters concerning accommodation. They have been saddled with the responsibility of seeing to it that students are given a fair consideration by their landlords especially in this time of economic hardships.
The Committee is led by Sihitse Paul as Chairman of the Committee, Nder Lucky as Secretary, with Philip James Alu as Public Relations Officer amongst others.
Comrade Danladi also displayed great concern for his students, when he released a statement the following day, addressing Departmental Course representatives with update on the continuation of Academic activities.
He also advised Students, to start preparing for resumption while awaiting the release of the official Academic Calendar.
In reacting to this, Ojo Busuyi Jobus the Publisher of All Campus Show, who said “ This is the kind of government we want,” commended Comrade Danladi's Passion for service and said that it is worthy of emulation to other young leaders.
