ASUU President's female student gets pregnated, delivers quintuplets amidst ASUU strike.


 A final year student of Forestry at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture (MOUAU), Abia state, which happens to be the lecturing university of the current ASUU President, Professor Emmanuel Osodeke. 

However, Oluomachi Linda Nwojo, 24 has given birth to a set of five babies at the Federal Medical Centre Umuahia.

According to Oluomachi’s mother Mrs Priscilla Nwojo, the quintuplets comprising two boys and three girls were born at 9:15 pm Monday night.



She expressed great joy for the gift of a quintuplets to her family. She, however, noted that such uncommon blessing usually comes with its peculiar challenges and further begged the Government and kind hearted individuals to reach out in support to the family, stating that ” it’s not easy to take care of one baby, not talking about five persons under the present situation of Nigeria” but nevertheless, she remains grateful to God. 



According to a report on vanguard, the 56-year- old grand mother is from Amamba in Abiriba kingdom of Ohafia Local Government Area. She gave her contact as 08035746487, while registering that she was a petty trader while her husband “is a tailor.”

All Campus Show Correspondent spoke with Chijioke Emmanuel who is the SUG PRO/Director Of Information, Michael Okpara University of Agriculture. 

In the interview, he confirmed Oluomachi as a student from the Forestry department and stated that the Union is yet to Visit her due to the fact that most of the Officials are not within Umuahia at the moment.
