Professor Patrick who has been clamoring for a change in Nigeria for the past 50years expressed sadness at the Nigerian political system describing it as one that is dropping down gradually; calling it a system which is fond of illegalities.

According to him, change begins with personal convictions and it requires more than just a political party to change the narratives. There is a need for a work force and collective social movements and that is what Labour Party stands for.

Furthermore, He blamed the media for encouraging corruption and urged the media to stand neutral as the fourth estate of the realm. He also lamented on the current situations and predicted an outcome of it.

In his words “with the way things are going we do not need four more years and we’ll be like Somalia.”

Pointing to the high rate of insecurity, he described a particular State in the country as a war zone and added the need to take back our Country.

The meeting also gave room for the airing of opinions on national grievances, questions and answers and possible suggestions on how to make the Party’s flag bearer emerge as President in the forthcoming elections.

Chief Patrick Osagie Eholor asserted that there is a wave of change already, adding that Nigerian citizens should overcome fear that do not exist as discouragement is contagious. He declared the Labour Party’s Flag bearer as most worthy of the Position thus far and challenged its counterparts as incompetent. In his words, “What does APC really want to bring out in this election? Are they going to campaign that our children have been at home for five months?

We still don’t have light because PDP flag bearer a former Vice President wasted billions of dollars for electricity without result.”

The Ultimate Equal emphasized the need for political education amongst citizens; according to him, 97% of the country’s population are suffering and citizens deserved better.

He admired the Canadian system of government and admits that for a change to take place in Nigeria, it is everyone’s responsibility to vote.

He further urged citizens to get their PVC and vote wisely and also encouraged women to participate more in politics.

Speaking on the misconception about the party’s structure, the oldest member of Labour Party in Edo state Comr. Victor Aguebor a 74 years old man said that it is a total misconception and shunned the notion that the obedient movement is not an internet movement but a divine project.
