Side hustle students can engage in while in school

In addition to receiving money from their parents or other loved ones, many students want to work additional jobs. The fact is, there is never enough money, especially with unexpected expenses and the need to occasionally purchase required school supplies.

Our educational system involuntarily teaches everyone about the future; in other words, there is no agency, private or parental, that will open the eyes of Nigerian students to this fact. In Nigeria, a student's ideal dream is to attend school, graduate with good grades, and get good jobs. Unfortunately, when they emerge from this academic shield, reality shapes their perspective as a result of the harsh economic system. However, for some people, everything goes as planned, for others this dreadful reality hits them hard.

Whatever the situation, nothing prevents you from beginning your own side business while you're still in school because the internet has made knowledge more accessible without putting any restrictions on brand-new business ideas or start-ups. However, juggling academic obligations and pursuing your entrepreneurial dreams requires tenacity and attention.

In the words of a lamenting Benson Idahosa University student who currently drives a cab to sustain herself in school "Nigeria is a country where you pay your school fees yourself, study and pass exams by yourself, and still end up employing yourself. Then later you pay tax to the same government who cannot provide adequate job for its populace. This is an error in a civilized country like Nigeria. A giant of Africa currently crawling."

This lends credence to the notion that success in modern society requires not only academic qualifications but also individual creativity and entrepreneurship skills

In order to make hay while the sun shines, Nigerian students are advised not to focus solely on their academic studies but to begin what is commonly known as a "side hustle."

All Campus encourages our students to develop abilities in their chosen areas of interest, whether online or offline, with a focus on ICT skills due to the strong need for these skills at the moment. This high demand skills include website development, digital marketing, SEO, data analysis, graphic design, computer programming, and copywriting. The good thing is that after developing yourself you can work remotely while attending school.

Others include; Hair styling, fashion designing, sales of local food stuffs, beads making, Laundry Services, are just a few of the business students can start-up on campus.
