The Senator Monday Okpebholo-led administration as the executive governor of Edo State has recorded many achievements and had been the talk of the moment in the State.
Okpebholo's touch on the education ministry has been recognized by bringing a global award of excellence and his initiation of the revival of the new Edo Line that has made transportation easier for the Edo people.
The road infrastructures that feature flyovers as well as transformation of Edo bad roads to better ones across the three senatorial districts. The Okpebholo-led administration can also boast of agricultural empowerment, establishment of a ministry for people with disabilities, Okpebholo's operation to flush out cultism and insecurity with many more achievements are also on record.
Analyzing these achievements, Barrister Felix Ota-Okojie, a professional legal practitioner and a seasoned technocrat with vast experience. who worked and retired as a Deputy Director from the Federal Ministry of Justice, served as a Commissioner in the Edo State Law Reform Commission, explained Governor Monday Okpebholo's achievements across the ministries and commissions in the state, saying Governor Monday has touched more than what he promised during the governorship campaign.
In his speech, he said "we can only urge Edo people to support the administration of senator Monday Okpebholo as we can see what the governor is doing, it is a sustainable development that can hold and promote this state in the next fifty years. Look at the Infrastructure that the governor is putting in place, look at the flyer overs for instance, if that work is completed, how it will ease the perennial transport challenges that have been associated with that axis of Benin City."
Okojie also pointed at the Adesuwa on Sapele Road "Look at what is doing at Adesuwa Junction, another area that is notorious for traffic jams and all the challenges that go with it. If you also go to Esan land, look at the construction he's doing in different communities, also Edo North, look at the constructions the governor is doing across the communities, come to education, look at how the governor is rebranding and refocusing education in Edo State, children can now learn under a very conducive atmosphere. Look at what he is doing with employment, the employment Okpebholo administration has done in this one last year more than what the previous administration has done."
