The Nmadi Azikwe University, Physically challenged employees Under the Association of Unizik staff and Disabilties ,has complained over their unpaid since 2020 they were employed by the University.
According to South-East Punch gathered that their inability to be captured into the Intergrated Payroll and Personnel Information system (IPPIS) is the cause of their predicament and the reason they have not been receiving salaries since 2020.
The group pleaded with the president and other agencies to provide solution to this problem, saying that life has been difficult due to Non-payment of Salaries.
Also the coordinator of ANAUSD ,Onukwe Chijioke "We are 10 Physically Challenged persons that were offered employment in UNIZIK in 2020, but since then they have been discharging their duties and are yet to be paid due to failure of IPPIS to capture them into the Payment platform.
However, the group has also made several appeals and complaints visit to the Office of the Accountant General of the federation in Abuja, Office of the SSA on Disability matters to the president and no efforts or solution has been made to solve their problem.
