NAUS Pleads with ASUU and Federal Government to avoid another strike .

The National Association of University Students(NAUS) has requested that the Federal Government and ASUU to avoid another strike from happening while listing the consequences of the strike on the students.


According to a newsreport on the Nigerian Tribune , The Naus National Deputy President Comrade Meshach Anthony Mwakwo in a statement emphasizes the need for "Constructive Engagement and dialogue to prevent the strike.


The alleged forthcoming Asuu strike will have a devastating effect on the Nigerian students. Also according to him the president efforts and commitment to education like Nelfund. He also urged that the Government needs to do more to avert another strike Like Adequate funding  and payment of Lecturers salaries and  also the association urged that the Government to allocate a minimum of 15 percent of the budget to the Education sector.


Finally The Association highlighted the Importance for Improved Infrastructural facilities in the university and that students across the country should remain calm and focused while reassuring them that the association is working endlessly to avoid the strike.
