University of Jos Students Union Government Senator elect, Comrade Mchivga Iornder representing Natural Science constituency from the department of Zoology was seen walking on campus with heavy guards to celebrate his long awaited swearing in as a Senator this week and coincidentally, his departmental week comes this week.
All Campus Show correspondence gathered that although the Senatorial election was postponed till now, the election was successful as Iornder won the Senatorial seat.
Being over 2 months now that the new students leaders haven't been sworn in but as result of the recent happenings on campus which there had not been any students leader to call the students together, therefore, the school management decided to swear in the senators and to re-run election for the executive arms that was cancelled to be held on Monday.
In his statement, Iornder said "I am preparing for the event tomorrow and as you can see that our departmental week is also this week" This is a surprise to many as they ask if it is normal or abnormal to do such.
