Sack Anambra CP, make him apologize to the Anambra people -Eholor

Chief Dr. Patrick Osagie Eholor otherwise known as Ultimate Equal, the Father of Nigerian Students-FONS and the Global President of One Love Foundation has reacted to the statement made by the Commissioner of Police, Anambra State over the killing by the unknown gunmen in the state.

Aderemi was quoted recently that "if losing lives is what it takes to protect the people of Anambra, the police is ready for it"

Dr. Eholor reacting to this through his social media handles today said:

"It is quite commendable for the Anambra Commissioner of Police Aderemi Adeoye to have send a strong warning to those constituting nuisance in Anambra state by enforcing the illegal Sit-at-home but then it is imperative to be careful at every statement and action."

"Regardless of the illegal enforcement of the Sit-at-home order, let us not forget that those people are human and not until they are taken to court and the court pronounced them guilty, they are not guilty of any offence yet."

The sit-at-home order which is seen as a form of protest for the freedom of the Igbos as well as agitating for Kanu Nnamdi release from the jail. However it is now seeing that the Igbos may be fighting for the best course but the channel in which they take it is very pathetic and not reasonable to dream of getting the right thing they want with wrong. This should be to Federal Government and it should be channelled to the Federal Government, not by killing their fellow people or reducing the flow of economic growth in the geopolitical Zone.

Although, the Igbos should not be condemned for fighting for their rights as every citizens have rights, the Federal Government should listen to them as part of the citizens, dialogue with them to make peace reign in the country.

Talking about the sit-at-home order, the campaign clamouring for the freedom of the citizens should not affect the fellow citizens if truly the order is for the general course of the citizens especially the Igbos, the protest should be launched to the Federal Government, but not to cutting the lives of any Igbo as well as other Nigerian citizens, in this period of imposing sit-at-home order on people, there have been lots of lives and properties that have been wasted, the economy of the states in the Geo Political zone has been decreased by the nature of the action behind the sit-at-home order.

Furthermore, another side effects of this is the halting of FG infrastructures; Federal Government roads maintenance, constructions and other developments.

Former Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola once lamented on the sit-at-home order, using it as factor delaying the Federal Government roads in the Geo Political zones when he was asked on the national Television, "Mondays is the perfect day for economy growth, businesses and projects building, in the southeast, Mondays have been taken away and if you take Mondays from the week, the other days are weak"

Therefore, Dr. Eholor in his statement said has called upon the IGP Egbetokun, to consider the sack of the commissioner of Police in Anambra, Aderemi Adeoye.

Eholor also said "Commissioner Of Police Anambra state should know better and should not have allowed passion to drive him negatively by threatening the people, I am now calling on the CP, Anambra state to retract his statement and apologize to Nigerians especially Anambra.
