Professor Sandabe said he was excited about the fast rate of development that has taken place within the last four years in the University, adding that the institution commenced academic sessions during the 2019/2020 session with only 647 students in four faculties but has grown far bigger than the expectations of the founders.

He disclosed that the National University Commission (NUC) has given full accreditation to 28 programs out of the thirty presented while two got interim accreditation in the ongoing accreditation exercise it conducted last year.
Sandabe said as the university prepares to graduate its pioneer students this year, all hands are on deck to ensure that BOSU produces men and women of valour that would excel in their respective fields of studies and contribute positively to the growth and development of the state and the country at large.
He then advised the newly matriculated students to imbibe learning and reading culture, discipline themselves, strive for excellence, and avoid anti-social behaviours contrary to the expectations on campus.
