Following the attack of famous afrobeat singer Habeeb Okikiola popularly known as portable, by rising Gospel Artist Evangelist Tolu Jesu, days have turned into weeks and weeks into months. However, the Zazoo crooner is reportedly yet to respond to the attack.
Recall in an interview previously published on All Campus Show, Tolu Jesu challenged the lyrics of the song as Zazoo Zehh.
According to him:
“I do not condemn Zazoo, I am not God, but I am not comfortable with the lyrics in the song. It is provocative, for instance telling people to be wicked is some how, I like portable as a man with his hustling spirit but what I did with my song was to compose good lyrics in order to flush and dilute the provocative lines of the song in the mind of our growing children.
“I don’t have any issue with Portable, we are from the same Ogun State. I love portable he is a glorious and blessed child from God, no matter what people may say about him, he is blessed already. May God bless him more and I want to plead that he should please mind his lyrics not to corrupt the mind of our young ones. May God bless zazzu keh gospel too. Zazzu keh’ is a revelation song, my producer and I composed to correct some flops in our society.” He said.

After all silence they say, is consent. Or perhaps, it could it also be that he is just trying to avoid another controversy? Following his recent ordeal with the police. Who knows?
