The Office of the First Lady of Edo State late last week invited SUG excos, Students and alumni in Edo State to a youth interactive session with Her Excellency Betsy Obaseki.
The event which was scheduled to hold today at Festival Hall Of The Edo State Government House counted the absence of some particular students.
The just inaugurated SUG excos of UNIBEN
brought to the public notice that the Union has been drawn to the invitation from the office of the First Lady of Edo State, therefore the UNIBEN students union wish to inform the Students community that the notice in circulation came as a shock "the leadership of the union were not carried along and hence we are not part to any of such invitation."
The Comrade Israel Nmoye led students union concluded that until due process is followed the students community should disregard such invitation.
