Students of Novena University in Ogume, Delta State, have protested over the disturbing command from the school authorities to withdraw from academic activities due to counterfeit admission letters.
The protest was carried out on Friday, August 26, shortly after the release of a list containing the names of the affected students, each of whom ranged from 200 to 400 levels.
According to reports, the command was issued as an outcome of fake admission letters, and the affected students are said to be beneficiaries of the Niger Delta presidential amnesty program.
Although the school authorities are yet to be heard on the issue, a student lamented for fear of wasted efforts and further questioned the source of the fake admission letters.
