The Minister in charge of negotiations between the Federal Government and striking university unions, Adamu Adamu, is said to be out of the country amidst the lengthened ASUU strike.
At the time of this report, Adamu's reason for traveling was yet to be known by the public.
When asked, Ben Goong, the Miinistry’s Spokesperson, did not immediately disclose the details of Adamu’s travels.
However, a close source to the Education Minister confirmed that he is possibly expected back in the country come September 2, 2022.
We recall that a few weeks back, the Minister openly supported the No Work No Pay policy and charged students across federal institutions to sue ASUU for choosing to prolong the strike.
