On June 6 2022, a letter was sent to the Labour Presidential Candidate by the Labour Party Leaders Vanguard to formally congratulate the party flagbearer, Mr Peter, for winning the party primaries.
On behalf of all members, The National Coordinator, Chief Patrick Osagie Eholor, in a congratulatory message, said;
"We leaders, elders, statemen and union leaders of Labour Party under the support umbrella "Labour Party Leaders Vanguard for Peter Obi (LPLV)", heartily congratulates you for your consensual and successful emergence as Presidential Candidate Monday, May 30, 2022. "
Furthermore, he said the affiliated group is determined to support Mr Peter Obi's national and state officials to achieve national success through mass mobilization of critical publicity input such as signatures, billboards, leaflet and posters already widespread in some parts of Nigeria.
Also, the OBident Army praise the Presidential aspirant, saying he has taken Labour Party from Relegation to the Top 3 in Nigeria in just weeks and that they are willing to stand firmly behind his victory come 2023. Some youths took to Twitter to express their solidarity with their candidate, Mr Peter Obi.
Mr Ahmed Gombe twitted
"His excellency Peter Obi project is a project for nation-building which includes: corruption-free Nigeria, rehabilitation of our dilapidated refineries, restoration of our hard-earned glory, improvement of our standard of living, united & prosperous for all."
Dr Umaru_Ameer Hamz twitted,
"A vote for Peter Obi is a vote for a secured livelihood. I can no longer risk my life trusting the looter continua's."
However, The National Coordinator is calling for the attention of Mr Peter Obi for physical campaign presence in various states of the country and mutual progress in support of the party's success nationwide.
To the Presidential candidate of our great party, Chief Patrick Osagie Eholor is sending warm prayers and divine health ahead of an overall success come 2023.
