Dr. Nelson Tenebe Lauds Governor Monday Okpebholo, Says Edo Government Hospitals Better Than Before




The Executive Secretary and Chief Executive of the Hospital Management Agency, Edo State, Chief Dr. Nelson Tenebe, has hailed the Executive Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, for supporting and promoting healthcare in Edo State.


Tenebe, while speaking to newsmen today, appreciated the effort of the Okpebholo-led administration for making hospitals look better than before.


In his statement, Tenebe spoke about hospitals that had been shut down and have now been revived by Governor Monday Okpebholo, describing Edo hospitals as attractive to investors because of the development the Governor has done and the ones he is doing.


Praising the hospital staff, Tenebe said staff services are better also: "The government hospitals in Edo are now running smoothly to serve people better as a result of the Governor's effort to make staff happy." Tenebe also mentioned that the 2025/2026 staff promotions have been approved by the Governor with arrears.


Speaking to patients, Tenebe said the wellbeing of patients is paramount to government hospitals, testifying that the prices in government hospitals are affordable with good services. He advised patients who have unresolved challenges to write to the suggestion boxes or call his number. He assured them that he works 24 hours and that there is no call he receives that will not be attended to.
