Elder statesman and former Minister of Defence, Lt. General Theophilus Danjuma (retd), has sounded the alarm saying that time was running out for him so rapidly as a result of his old age and illness.
General Danjuma, who revealed his health status at Ganye, Adamawa State while he was being turbaned as the Gang Paan Ganye by the Gangwari Ganye, His Royal Highness Alhaji Adamu Sanda, specifically expressed concerns over his deteriorating health.
In his speech, he said “As you can see, I’m a sick old man. Time is running out for me rapidly, as you can see”.
He therefore called on Nigerians, particularly the people of Adamawa State, to remain loyal to their leaders, stressing that loyalty to leaders is key to economic growth and democratic stability in Nigeria.
Prior to this, Hon. Busuyi Ojo-Jobus, the president of All Campus Show has preached to the youths to also be loyal to Nigeria as their country. Jobus recited J.F Kennedy' famous quotes that says "Don't ask what your country will do for you but ask what you can do for your country"
Jobus explained that many young ones today, both genders have prioritized now, they prefer now to future which make them engage in provocative activities. Busuyi Ojo further said that "whatever you do today will wait for you tomorrow."
