Hon. Engr. Esosa Iyawe, Member representating Oredo Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to youth development and sports at the grand finale of the Oba of Benin Under-18 Football Tournament held today at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.
The highly competitive match saw Delight FC defeat Irex Sports FC 2-1 in an exciting showdown that thrilled the audience. However, the highlight of the event was Hon. Iyawe’s historic donation of a bus to the Edo State Football Association (EFA). This first-of-its-kind gesture since the association’s inception which clearly demonstrates Iyawe’s dedication to advancing football and supporting young talents in Edo State.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Iyawe pledged his continued support for sporting activities, emphasizing the critical role sports play in shaping disciplined, focused, and responsible youth.
