Nigerian government, from the Federal to Local government have been playing games with the people they promised better lives to guide and protect.
Chief Dr. Patrick Osagie Eholor (FoNS) otherwise known as Ultimate Equal, the global president of One Love Foundation who is fondly known as senior advocate of the masses and voice of the voiceless has condemned the APC led administration as well as PDP government in Edo State.
Speaking in a viral video, Dr. Eholor lambasted Edo Governor over some bad roads network in Edo State, in this Video, Dr. Eholor showcased a bad road around Ekehuan, Benin City, he called upon the governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki to give a reason why he has refused to do the road. "Why are you suffering this people, did they offend you?" Eholor asked Obaseki.
Meanwhile, in another trending video on tiktok, Dr. Eholor slammed the Federal Government, Tinubu-led administration on inflation on goods and commodities, in this midst of this famine crisis, the government has not provided any solution as things get increased day by day.
In some of the food items presented presented by Eholor, he compared the price of bag of rice, carton of noodles with police and military salaries, he said their salary is not enough to put food on the table for their wives and children whereas budgets are being passed and approved; 90Billion Naira for Hajj pilgrims and but 50Billion Naira only for education for the whole country.
According to Vanguard "President Bola Tinubu said that the Federal Government would continue with the various developmental strides of the past APC-led administration.
"He said this at the public presentation of books on former President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration in Abuja.
"Our administration will continue to work, from where President Buhari stopped, to make our country better, create a vibrant economy, and secure the environment to bring more prosperity to our people."
However, Dr. Eholor posted on his social media handle on Facebook that "As the Edo State governorship election approaches, it’s time for citizens to reflect on the performance of the two major political parties, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and consider the best candidate to lead the state towards a more prosperous future.
"Unfortunately, both parties have failed to deliver on their promises and address critical issues facing the state, making it clear that it’s time for a change. OLUMIDE Osaigbovo AKPATA, the Labour Party governorship candidate, offers a refreshing alternative and a vision for a better Edo State.
"Governor Godwin Obaseki’s tenure under the PDP has been marred by underwhelming development, unfulfilled promises, and neglect of essential infrastructure.
"The deplorable state of roads in Adolor during the rainy season is just one example of the governor’s failure to prioritize the needs of his constituents.
"The APC administration’s recent decision to approve a staggering N90 billion subsidy for the 2024 Hajj pilgrimage raises further concerns about their priorities and fiscal responsibility.
"This substantial amount could have been better utilized in the education sector, improving schools, hiring more teachers, and providing resources for students.
