The Minister of Education, Tahir Mamman, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Princeton University, United States and African School of Economics.
According to NTANewsNow "This was done on the sidelines of the 78th United Nations General Assembly.
"The MOU is expected to enhance Nigeria's education system, promote vocational learning, and support research and policy formulation."
The case of low research has engraved Nigerian institutions as there had been huge absence of investment into the Nigerian education. One of Nigerian students, Adeshola Alao who just graduated lamented when speaking with our correspondence today said the world has gone far beyond Nigerian research " I remembered when I was in school, I graduated last year but one of my final handouts was made in 1978, it is outdated, therefore, this MOU would help us a lot" he said.
