From recent reports, the removal of Fuel Subsidy has dealt so much on our Education system. Students now pay heavily to get to their different institutions of learning. The increase in price of fuel across petrol stations in the country. This has largely affected the daily activities of Nigerians.
In an effort to reduce this burden, some Governors introduced the 3-day working and schooling plan. The effect of this is that, students are expected to attend school three days in a week.
All of these is good, but, for how long will the government keep looking for way-out in situations like this?
Government first responsibility is its environmental integrity. Environmental integrity entails commitment to improving the environment for the benefit of both the current and future generations.
Therefore, instead of running out of ideas when crisis arises in the education system, government can actually secure a permanent E-learning platform.
E-learning is an intellectual platform that can be used to aid learning and teaching process. This type of teaching is carried out with the help of an electronic resources. It is a network enabled teaching on internet. E-learning is an out of the classroom transfer of knowledge or skills that can be achieved from the comfort of our home anywhere, anytime.
