The National Universities Commission (NUC) has given approval to Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State, to run Human Physiology and Human Anatomy programmes at the undergraduate level.
In a letter addressed to the Vice-Chancellor and signed by the commission’s Director of Academic Planning, Dr Biodun Saliu, the approval followed the resource verification exercise conducted by the Commission in April 2023.
He said during the exercise, experts assembled to assess the institution’s level of preparedness to commence the various programmes gave the university a clean bill.
In a statement by the institution’s registrar, Omololu Adegbenro, some of the additional postgraduate programmes approved for the university for the 2023/2024 academic session, include Masters and Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information and Communication Engineering, and Automotive Engineering.
Others are Masters and Doctor of Philosophy in Mass Communication and Tourism and Hospitality Management.
