Chief Dr. Patrick Osagie Eholor otherwise known as Ultimate Equal President One Love Foundation and Father of Nigerian Students-FONS has taken his time to analyze his observation about the viral video and report of Seun Kuti assault on an unidentified Nigerian Police officer.
To some, it was a justifiable case and scenario that an unarmed man could stand to assault a Policeman who has been deriving joy in assault citizens. It is know that the hatred between the Nigerian Police Force and it citizen cannot be expressed, the way many police officers are fond of misbehaving in the public, avoiding the rule of law, encouraging false witness against suspects, killing of innocent citizens and some other negative things they are known for, just as the case of Barrister Bolanle who was shot dead on December 25, 2022 in the Ajah area of Lagos, cases like this have made many citizens to plan war against the Police.
In Nigeria, no one can see a Policeman suffering and be convinced to help out, unlike in other part of the world, they are free with the cop free to give information to them as well, it is unlike that here in Nigeria because Nigerians know it would be used against them by the police you think of helping.
However, this is what Chief Dr. Patrick Eholor has been prophesying, talking and crying about that Police needs reformation before it is too late which is getting late as the citizens are attacking their police.
On the Social media this morning, our correspondence reported the comments by the Ultimate Equal concerning Seun Kuti assaulting a policeman, it reads:
"So unfortunate that Seun Kuti was caught slapping a police officer publicly, although the reason behind him slapping the police officer is yet to be revealed, however we must not belittle ourselves to a point of ridicule.”
“This act is entirely condemnable as we too must see the Nigerian Police as humans who are also struggling to meet up to their needs.”
“This is why those at the top must be very careful on how they go about getting angry publicly because the world is watching you and you are a role model to some persons. If his dad (Fela Anikulapo Kuti) were to be alive I am very sure he will be displeased with this act as this negate what he struggled for.”
“We all remembered what happened to Burna Boy, similar thing played out but he was stripped off the Grammy award.”
“To the Nigerian Police Force, oftentimes I always talk about the Nigerian Police Force the need for reformation, it gradually coming to a point whereby the citizens will fight for themselves and this and many more are things you should expect very soon. If Seun Kuti was to be a COMMON PERSON I am sure that police would have pulled his trigger or even assaulted the person.”
“Again I hereby condemn this action and call on IGP to investigate and prosecute Seun Kuti if found guilty.”
“Regardless of the above, the law should take it cause, as it has no respect for anyone.” Ultimate Eholor concluded.
