Burna Boy is in trouble over a club shooting allegation

Ultimate Equal, National President of One Love Foundation, writes to Grammy, NBC, and Human Rights for Justice.

All Campus show brings you latest update on Chief Patrick Eholor’s law suit against Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, A.K.A Burna Boy.

Over Burna Boy’s alleged shooting of an unarmed woman, her friend, and her husband for defending his wife on June 8, 2022, in Cubana’s night club in Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.

In keeping with his earlier promise in fighting for human rights and unjust maltreatment of innocent couples, the Founder of One Love Foundation has written to the Recording Academy (Grammy Award), Nigeria National Human Rights Commission and National Broadcasting Commission for Burna Boy’s unruly misbehaviour and ignominious character.

In his words, "this means he is taking the country with a population of over two hundred million people (200,000,000) for granted. So-called celebrities, in the disguise of thugs, misbehave in public, causing people to fear for their lives and they think the law is above them. We have the rule of law here in Nigeria. I am taking up this case to the finish and justice will be served in favour of those couples and Nigerians."

A few years ago, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, A.K.A. Burna Boy, was presented with the best global music album for his 2020 album ‘Twice as Tall' at the Grammy Awards.
Speaking of the award given to Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, A.K.A. Burna Boy, for his performance. He said.

"They should consider redrawing his award to avoid tarnishing their image because charity begins at home. This same charity will continue to make international headlines if they don’t curb this misbehaviour. They shouldn’t be surprised when he travels to an international event and ends up killing innocent people. The ethics and standards of the Recording Academy (Grammy Awards) are a learned academy of musicians, producers, recording engineers, and other musical professionals. It is an internationally recognized award intended to recognize outstanding achievement in music all over the world, both in character and in public relations.

''The National Human Rights Commission is Nigeria's national human rights body established to deal with all matters relating to the promotion and protection of human rights, investigation of alleged human rights violations, and enforcement of decisions of the Commission's Governing Council. There are cases in which the commission has investigated and brought many aberrant offenders to justice. This makes Nigerians believe so much in the commission."

''Kanye West was disciplined following social media misconduct, amongst other petitions against his bad behaviour. If Will Smith, despite his affluence and influence, was panelised for slapping Chris Rock, who is Burna Boy? This clearly shows that you do not support provocative and criminal artists, and Nigerians should do the same."

In a pen letter to the National Human Rights Commission, he describes the Afrobeat and Pop singer as a disgrace whose public character can derail many young Nigerians.

"He is a disgrace and his demeanour attitude have the potential to derail many young people who look up to him."

‘’However, he can't do that in any foreign country and get away with it. R. Kelly even though an American star and a popular singer is currently in Jail for something not up to what Burna Boy did in Nigeria. Nigeria is also a civilized country where such an act should not be easily dismissed."
